Mount Tai’s Jiunvfeng Study

Updated: Jan 15

This visitor centre designed by Gad Line+ Studio in Shandong, China, is a brilliantly simple and restrained contrast to the rocky ridges around Mount Tai, one of China’s most sacred mountains.

Particularly captivating at night, the curved double-layer membrane is insulated with reflective foil that radiates light evenly to create a cloud-like effect.

Site: Jiunvfeng Study, Dongximen, Shandong Province, China

Architecture firm: @Gad_LinePlus_Studio
